Some of these scenes were scripted or had a set storyline, others were more spontaneous. All of these erotica scenes were made with performers who either knew each other beforehand or who had asked to perform together.

With scripted scenes, the “story” part of the scene was shot first, followed by the sex scene. Usually, it was pretty open as to what might happen during the sex scene, although some direction occurred if it helped the story. Performers were mostly able to do whatever worked for them. Each scene was discussed in detail beforehand,  including establishing agreed safe sex guidelines and setting boundaries. As with all Bright Desire scenes, they were shot with a cinematic focus and edited to ensure the end result was easy and pleasurable to watch. These scenes sometimes have extended versions, plus behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the performers after the shoot.
