Zahra Stardust

Dr. Zahra Zsuzsanna Stardust is an Australian artist and scholar who writes and practices in explorations of the body, pleasure and labour. Using her body as a canvas, her work examines sexuality, gender and regulation. Her award-winning films and shows have been screened, exhibited, workshopped and performed across several continents, and her writing appears in academic books and journals.

Zahra was named Heartthrob of the Year at the 2014 Feminist Porn Awards. She recently earned her PhD studying the intersection of porn, queer sexuality and censorship.

Zahra was a joint collaborator in our shared film An Open Letter and also appears in a spanking scene with Pandora Blake, filmed in Toronto.
